Project
Four muses. Twelve stories. Indian boudoir, reimagined as cinematic stills in a Kolkata house.
The Hundredth Chamber is FOI Magazine's milestone project: four muses, twelve stories, and a house that remembers more than it reveals.
Shot inside FOI's Kolkata rooms — marble floors, oil lamps, carved wood, sand laid like a beach where a chamber should not have one — it treats architecture as a collaborator. The camera is not hidden. The set is part of the story.
The four muses of this chapter: Swapna Halder, Aayu Choudhary, Poulomi, and Debpriya. Public-safe studies and the house itself live here. The fuller sequence lives with the sitters and in the FOI archive.

This is Indian boudoir, reimagined as cinematic storytelling. The lamps stay in the picture.
