Project
Yashica Mat 124G. Kodak Portra 160 and Gold 200. No digital preview — just 120 film and daylight.
Film photography is an experience digital will never quite replicate. In this project FOI put two Kodak 120 stocks in front of a Yashica Mat 124G: Portra 160, refined and cinematic, and Gold 200, warm and nostalgic.
The sitting used natural light and intuitive metering. No chimping. No second chances. The project was first published on Behance and on the Adobe Portfolio, with a YouTube breakdown of the same days.

The public journal keeps the covers and a daylight still. The fuller sequence lives with the sitters and in the FOI analogue archive.
Camera: Yashica Mat 124G · Film: Kodak Portra 160, Kodak Gold 200 · Light: available, metered by eye.
