FOI membership is free because the journal should be a house, not a ticketed show.

Members can like, comment, save stories privately, and choose how they hear from us — a daily digest, major announcements, or both. Public profiles are modest by design: a name, a photograph, a short biography, a joining date.

Saved stories, your email and your settings stay private.

The studio will keep publishing whether or not you join. Joining simply lets you leave a trace that belongs to you.
